Pilates is a low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements workout.
Pilates emphasises correct postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. It is great for ironing out muscular imbalances, injury rehabilitation and injury prevention. Pilates balances the body, creating both strength and length. With a focus on stabilizing muscles, your joints will become better supported decreasing the chance of injury.
We recommend Pilates exercises at least twice a week to notice the benefits. Our yoga classes are a great way to compliment the strength you build in Pilates with deep stretching.
