Join our Beginners Pilates class every Wednesday at 7:00 PM at MeTime Studio. This mat-based, low-impact session is designed to help you move safely, build core strength, and improve mobility through mindful, guided exercises. Ideal for those with no prior experience, the class focuses on proper technique, controlled movement, and confidence-building fundamentals in a supportive environment.
Pilates
Pilates exercises target the key postural muscles building strength from within creating a girdle of strength around the torso. Joseph Pilates called this the Powerhouse. The core centre of the body (the lower back and abdomen) are supported and strengthened, enabling the rest of the body to move freely. Pilates balances the body, creating both strength and length. With a focus on stabilizing muscles, your joints will become better supported decreasing the chance of injury.
We recommend Pilates exercises at least twice a week to notice the benefits. Our yoga classes are a great way to compliment the strength you build in Pilates with deep stretching.
